Many of you may have seen this on Pinterest, where a bunch of colorful yummy salad ingredients are put into mason jars to create on-the-go quick salads. (See Pics below)

Well, this is the latest craze AND it’s called “salad in a jar party”. It’s so simple yet turns into an awesome experience when you do it amongst a group of friends.

With health at the forefront of a lot of our minds, what better way to meal prep lunches for the week than with a bunch of fun gals.

Here’s how it works:

  1. Everyone brings 1-2 bags of greens.
  2. Everyone brings two toppings from a list provided.
  3. Everyone brings five empty mason jars.
  4. Everyone fills their jars and voila you have lunch for five days.

I was privileged to have been invited by Valerie Slade, who does so many other things to help empower and help women daily!

You can do this at home and I found this awesome website for you all with different varieties of salad.
